From Sprints to Cycles: Revolutionizing Agile with Empathy

I gave a talk at Reversim 2024 on adopting new ways to work. A year ago, Empathy decided to ditch the traditional Agile-Sprint methodology and start using Cycles, a system inspired by Basecamp’s Shape-up methodology.

This new system completely upends how we work (Engineering, Product & Design) and we have witnessed a significant shift in our team’s productivity, collaboration, and overall satisfaction. This talk will delve into the details of our journey, the benefits we have gained, and the key takeaways that extend beyond just the cycles system.
